Registrants are encouraged to bring laptops with Second Life and Kitely installed on them to enable full participation in the immersive experiences featured during the conference.

Check out the schedule to see our exciting session line up. This year's conference is a mixed reality experience featuring local in-person speaker sessions as well as guest sessions streamed live from various parts of the world, including the UK, New Zealand, and Canada.

The deadline for session proposals is Monday, December 16, 2013.

The Emergent Learning Commons (ELC) and the Applied Research in immersive Environments for Learning Special Interest Group (ARiEL SIG) of the American Educational Research Association invites you to present your teaching and learning innovations and research projects either in person at the Emergent Learning Commons (ELC) conference 2014 at Oregon's State University (Corvallis, OR) or virtually on the web on January 16, 17, & 18, 2014.

The fourth year of Oregon immersive Education Days has begun! If you're interested in following along but can't be in PDX in person, here's a link to the live stream, available for the whole of the conference:

Thursday night is occuring in the main floor of the UO White Stag building. Friday and Saturday will take place upstairs (floor 3R if you take the elevator!) in the George S. Turnbull Center.

Keep an eye on the website - specifically the OiED 2012 conference page - for any updates or changes to the program. Any files provided by the presenters will be added as download links on the schedule. Whether attending virtually, live, or a combination of the two - we hope you enjoy the conference!
